Golfers Need “The Process”

What is it and why is it important?

In July, Henrik Stenson won

the Open Championship

at Royal Troon and joined

a distinguished list of Pete

Cowen pupils to win a

major

championship.

A

list that includes; Danny

Willett, Darren Clarke, Louis

Oosthuizen and Graeme

McDowell. LeeWestwood and

Sergio Garcia have also been

long-time Cowen students.

CowenhasworkedwithHenrik

Stenson since 2001 and has

witnessed him rebound from

two serious setbacks, while

accepting the challenge to

continually improve. Cowen

said that Stenson does not care

about what he did yesterday,

but wants to know how he can

improve today.

He believes that the climb

to reach for the stars, “The

Process,” is much more

Tiger Woods felt he had to

constantly change his swing,
