lifted/moved the ball, the player or his
partner(USGA Rule . If placed by
someone other than listed, a one stroke
penalty is assessed.
If the exact original lie of a ball to be
placed isn’t known or can’t be determined
then USGA Rule applies,the ball
must be placed as near as possible to the
place where it lay but not in a hazard.
