When Augusta National welcomes the competitors to the Masters

each year it is a sure sign of spring and the beginning of golf season

in the north.

An unseasonably warm winter has allowed northwest Ohio and

southeast Michigan golfers the chance to play in December and

January, plus bonus rounds in February. I was at The Golf PIT on the

last Saturday of February and every hitting bay was filled, plus golfers

were hitting balls from the grass tee and mats outside.

With the golf season rapidly approaching, we have posted the schedules

Golf Association. Both of these groups offer juniors the opportunity

to compete and improve their games on the area’s best golf courses.
