Openandwasgiventhefamousclockthatstandsintheentry
foyeroftheInvernessClubtoday.
AyoungBobbyJonesmadehisfirstappearanceinthe
1920 U.S.Open here and made his finalU.S.Open
appearanceatInvernes in1931,afterwinningthe“Grand
Slam”in1930.
