Team.He letered al four
years,was named Team
CaptaininbothhisJunior
andSenioryears.Hewon
Al-League honors for
threeyearsandearneda
triptothestatechampionship
inhisSenioryear.
In1974,Sprunkwasawarded
anEvansScholarshiptoatend
MichiganStateUniversityand
graduated with a degree in
marketingin1979.
SprunkreturnedtoHighland
Meadowsasafulmemberin
1985.Hewaselectedtothe
BoardofDirectorsin1998and
wasnamedPresidentofthe
ByFredAltvater
TheTDGAistheauthorizedrepresentativeoftheUnitedStatesGolf
AssociationinNorthwestOhio.Inthisrole,theTDGAactsastheliaison
betweenlocal golfersandthegoverningbodyofthegameofgolfinthe
UnitedStates.TheTDGAconductsseminarsontheRulesonGolf,the
HandicapSystem,courseratingsandholdsqualifyingtournamentsfor
USGAchampionships.
TheTDGAconductsanimpressivearayofgolftournamentsfor24
MemberClubs.Thisschedulealowsmembersoftheseclubstoplay
funandcompetitivetournaments,professionalyrun,atothermember
clubsinthearea.Thesetournamentsoferseveralopportunitiesfor
