This young teambegan the fallwitha runaway
win at the Notre Dame Kickoff Classic
placing six players in the top-10 individually.
Shoemaker also captured medalist honors at
the season-ending Rocket Individual Classic
hosted by Belmont Country Club in October.
The freshman seem to be adjusting to college
life and have performed ahead of schedule
thus far.
They will be joined next year (2016-17) by
new recruit, Grant Godfrey from Rutherford
B. Hayes High School in Delaware, Ohio.
Godfrey won seven tournaments as a Junior
and added seven more this year as a Senior.
He was named second-team all-state, first-
team all-district and first-team all-league.
Coach Broce is building for the future and
has an excellent mix of talent to keep the
UT Rocket Golf Team at the top for several
years.
