It’s December and that means only one thing, Santa Claus will soon be
bringing new range finders, clubs, balls and other great golf stuff to good
little golfers around the land.
The December issue of NWO Golf Links will try to help Santa out with
some ideas for his favorite Golfaholic. We are providing several pages of
gift ideas that can be bought online or in a retail shop right here in Toledo.
We cover anything and everything golf and hope you will find something
that will make your golfer smile on Christmas morning.
The major golf tours have all ended their seasons and hopefully Tiger
Woods will return to action full time next year. Since this is the final issue
of 2016 we have listed our top golf stories for the year. It was a fantastic
year to be a golf fan and it was a difficult task limiting the best stories to a
workable number.
2016 included a historic battle between Henrik Stenson and Phil Mickelson
at Royal Troon, a Ryder Cup that will be remembered for many years to
come and it was the first time golf competed in the Olympics since 1904.
The announcement that Inverness Club will host the 2021 Solheim Cup
was an early Christmas present for golfers in northwestern Ohio and
southeastern Michigan.
This is the last issue of our second year as a digital magazine. As we look
forward to 2017, we at NWO Golf Links want to thank all our readers,
contributors and advertisers for a successful 2016. We love bringing
faithful Golfaholics the best in golf news, views and information.
