The PGA of America started the
Junior Golf League to resemble
Little League Baseball or your
child’s soccer team, because
children have more fun, when
they are part of a team.
Golf is normally recognized
as a solo endeavor, however
we as adults normally play
golf only in the company of
friends, family or for business.
PGA Junior Golf League
encourages kids to bring a
friend to learn to compete
and play the game in a team
format. The children are
paired in two-man teams and
pitted against other two-man
teams during matches.
PGA Junior Golf League
is available to both boys
and girls under the age
of 13. With local PGA
Professionals heading up
each team, the kids receive
the best training with their
friends and teammates.
Registration for your local
team or league typically takes
place, February through
April. The regular season
of PGA Junior League Golf
occurs. April-July.
