In addition to team MVP honors, Ruenreong
won awards for, the Hardest Worker, Greens
in Regulation, Ups and Downs and Putting
Average.
Monica Isavas and Ruenreong shared the
Rocket Award and Hannah Kockendoerfer
was named the winner of the Stephen Tobin
Hopkins “Serving Before Self” Community
Service Award.
The 2017 Rocket Women’s Golf Team will
have some big shoes to fill with the loss of
Ruenreong, Isavas and Salm, but Coach
Hollingsworth has another strong crop of
talented young women golfers entering the
Freshman class this fall.
The UT Women’s Golf Team also announced
an opportunity to travel with the team to
Ireland and play some of the most famous Irish
courses. The trip will be from July 31-August
8 and includes stops at Old Head Golf Links,
Ballybunion Golf Club, Waterville and Tralee
Golf Club.
This is the trip of a lifetime for Toledo-area
Golfaholics.
