Page Background Ted Bishop’s new book, Unfriended ” gives golf fans

a look inside the boardrooms

of golf. It provides a better

understanding of the politics of

the golf world and the interaction

of the ruling bodies of golf.

Bishop is a golf course owner,

operator and PGA Professional.

He spent 30 years serving the

PGA of America in various

capacities and rose to become

the largest golf organization’s

President in 2012.

During his brief tenure he

presided over some of the

biggest issues that have ever

been discussed in golf history.

After 30 years of service, the PGA

of America impeached Bishop

with just one month remaining

in his two-year term in office.

Comments made on social

media comparing Ian Poulter

to a “little girl” were taken as a

slur against women and the PGA

made a knee-jerk reaction.

Bishop doesn’t take shots at

his former associates, but he

does lay out the events in an

understandable

and

frank

manner.

This book will help golf fans

better understand the people

and organizations that run golf

and is a great read.
