The calendar rolls over to November and the outdoor golf season is

winding down in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan, but the Indoor

Golf season is set to begin.

Toledo has become a “Winter Golf Mecca” with 10 locations that offer

over 30 golf simulators to keep your golf game sharp, when the cold winds

blow and the snow piles up outside.

We are happy to feature one of the newest members of the Toledo Indoor

Golf Community

The Ohio State Athletic Association held the High School state golf

tournament in October and several teams and golfers qualified. We have

a listing of their accomplishments inside this issue.

Many golfers begin thinking about heading to warmer climates for sunshine

and sandy beaches, with Florida, Arizona, and southern California

immediately coming to mind. We found a wonderful story on a trip to

of our travel articles.

Arnold Palmer left us at the end of September, but his legacy will live forever

in the people and places that he touched throughout his extraordinary life.

Gulf Shores, for example, can attribute their growth as an entertainment

and golf destination to the King.

It has been difficult to concentrate on golf over the past couple of weeks

as long-suffering Cleveland Indians’ Fans cannot believe their eyes and

good fortune to witness the Tribe contending with the Cubs in the World

Series. Go Tribe!!

Toledo Golf Fans, we have a lot to be proud of and even though we may not

be able to play golf outside right now, we are fortunate to have the Toledo

Walleye, UT Rockets, BGSU Falcons, plus a plethora of golf simulators to

keep us occupied for the next couple of months.

Layer Up and get out to a local golf course, I’ll see you on the Back 9.
