November, the tour returns to
mainland USA for the Shriners
Hospitals for Children Open
at TPC Summerlin in Las
Vegas, where another of the
talented younger players,
Smylie Kaufman will defend
his title.
The tour again drifts across
the border to Mexico for the
OHL Classic at Mayakoba,
November 10-13. Graeme
McDowell made a return to
form last year by winning
this event.
Kevin Kisner won close to
home last year by hoisting
the trophy at the RSM Classic
on Sea Island, Georgia.
Sea Island is a great golf
destination and is home to
many golf professionals.
Davis Love will host the pros
for the final official PGA Tour
event of 2016, November
17-20.
Young professionals look to
get a leg up on FedEx Cup
points list to retain their cards
next season and veterans will
enter selected events to earn
valuable FedEx Cup points to
maintain their world ranking
and entry into the more
lucrative majors and WGC
tournaments next year.
With the advent of the PGA
Tour’s wrap-around schedule,
the tour never sleeps, it just
takes a couple of days off for
the holidays.
