after training, a caddie
position will be available for
them, when they turn 14.
This caddie partnership
offers many exciting benefits.
Children will continue to be
involved in golf into their high
school years. They will also
earn money, while learning
valuable employment skills
as a caddie, plus each caddie
will have an opportunity
to build relationships with
successful business people.
Another huge benefit is the
chance to earn an Evans
Scholarship via their caddie
experience. For eligible caddies,
a full college tuition is available,
which includes, room and
board, plus books and tuition.
The First Tee of Lake Erie is
taking a strong stance to give
every child an opportunity to
learn and grow through their
programs. They are excited
to continue the development
of the summer programs to
reach special needs, as well
as, underprivileged children
and continue to set them up
for success, long after they
graduate from the First Tee.
