Organizations like The First
Tee, Youth on Course, LPGA
Girls Golf, and PGA Junior
League are all doing great
work to provide children
from every background the
opportunity to give golf a
try in a fun and affordable
environment.
Parents constantly worry
about placing their children
in a safe environment, but
what better place to allow
your children to spend time,
than at the golf course. They
are supervised in an outdoor
activity and learn a game that
will serve them for a lifetime.
Every course or junior golf
activity has a program to
provide clubs, balls and
equipment for children. Golf
is one of the very few sports
that does not exclude young
people from playing for
financial reasons.
Continuing to grow the
opportunities for children to
be exposed to golf is crucial
to ensuring a bright future for
the sport and should continue
to be a top priority throughout
the entire golf industry.
