three years in the U.S. Coast

Arnie instilled in America
during his career, but he
served his country first.
Before winning the 1969
U.S. Open, two other PGA
Tour events, as well as, 11
ChampionsTour tournaments,
Orville “Sarge” Moody served
for 14 years in the U.S. Army.
In recent years, PGA Tour
member, Billy Hurley III,
graduated from the U.S. Naval
Academy and spent five years
on the USS Gettysburg, a
guided-missile cruiser.
