News From
The First Tee
of Lake Erie
The First Tee of Lake Erie conducts programs to
introduce golf to youth aged 6-18 all year round.
Certified coaches teach participants the
fundamentals of the golf swing. They also
learn core values such as: responsibility, trust,
decision making and consequences, goal
setting, the importance of a positive attitude
and respect for others.
The First Tee of Lake Erie has also applied for
and will receive a grant to work with special
needs children. This is a wonderful opportunity
for area special needs children to find a sport
to enjoy and mix with other children on the
golf course.
